Truth Rings Out
A man, reckoned as dead
in Jerusalem’s grip.
Led by his Lord
on a very long trip.
Governors. Kings. Rulers. Guards.
He holds nothing back;
bloodied, beaten, scarred.
Truth rings out.
In Herod’s palace,
the accused brings peace.
Speaking truth,
testifying of one
who is truly great.
Purchased by Christ.
Chained for Christ.
Sent by Christ.
